If you’re starting your own brand, no matter the product, having a cool logo is always a great move.
1. Design
There are several ways to get the design you want, and here are a few examples:
1.1 Let ChatGPT Help You
For instance, if I want a jaguar logo for my hoodie, I can ask GPT to generate one. You can try different ways of asking, and with a bit of experimenting, you’ll get some cool results. Some may ask, “Why not use MidJourney for logos?” While MJ is a solid choice, it requires payment and a bit more knowledge of prompts. GPT, on the other hand, is free and often delivers decent results for simple designs, so MJ may not be necessary.
Once you’re satisfied with the image, click the download button in the top right corner to save it.
1.2 Download Logos from Platforms
You can also go to platforms that provide logo or image libraries, like canva.com, freepik.com, or iconfinder.com. Some of these services charge a small fee, but it’s usually affordable.
Take Freepik, for example. Be sure to select vector formats (like SVG or AI), as they are scalable and allow for color editing—this is super helpful for further customization. You can download both AI and JPG files: AI for detailed editing and JPG for preview or simple tweaks.
2. Removing Backgrounds
If you’re familiar with Photoshop, you can remove the background directly. But if you have zero graphic design skills, there are plenty of free online tools that do the job.
Here’s an easy option:

Within seconds, you’ll get a clean, background-free image ready for use!
3. Creating a Mock-Up
It’s essential to let your supplier know exactly how your design should be printed—what size, where it should be placed, etc. Let’s say you want your design on a white hoodie.
Search Google for a clean image of a “white hoodie” and download it.
Now, take the background-free jaguar image and combine it with the hoodie. You can do this easily using canva.com:
Click File > Import Files
Upload both your hoodie and jaguar design
Resize and position the jaguar to fit your hoodie mock-up, and voila—you’re done!
